yoga
Perhaps you’ve thought yoga isn’t for you because you aren't flexible. Perhaps you’re interested in giving it a try and are concerned that you won’t know what to do. Maybe you want to add a little balance to your life or carve out a special time, just for you. My classes are suitable for all levels; Infused with warm, loving humour I gently guides students through postures (asana) and breathing practices (pranayama) allowing each to find their yoga practice.
No two bodies are the same, no two minds truly alike –
thankfully, our practice allows us to move beyond by going within.
The practice of yoga is so much more than the physical postures known as asana. My role is to provide a space, a timeless window, that allows students to turn their gaze inward and bring balance to the fore. The physical postures are one way in – often the primary reason for starting a yoga practice – but it's the feeling that keeps us coming back.
When we practice together we build community which supports us in getting yoga off the mat and fully expressed in our lives.
I received my training in Atlanta, USA, with the hugely respected, Graham Fowler at Peachtree Yoga Center. I give thanks to Har Hari Kaur at the Sukhmani Centre for her grace and dedication. I am immensely grateful to past, present and future students and teachers for the gifts they bring.
