Hello All!
Thanks for showing an interesting in the Spring Cleanse 2023 (15th May - 28th May 2023). Below are the key points. Let me know if you have any questions. (Please don't share this link or information with others.)
**I am neither an Ayurvedic practitioner, nor a dietician. I have done this cleanse many times over the last 10+-years. If you have an underlying health condition please consult your GP before starting a cleanse. If you currently have or have had challenges in the past with your eating pattern, please do not consider this cleanse**
SPRING CLEANSE 2023
It is believed to be beneficial to cleanse with the season's change, a time when we naturally shift habits. This cleanse is based on Ayurvedic wisdom. Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga: Ayurveda is the healing side of Yoga, Yoga is the spiritual side of Ayurveda. Both modalities have been used in India for thousands of years to promote optimal health. This gentle and supportive cleanse harnesses this knowledge, providing simple and effective techniques accessible to all.
This simple cleanse lasts 14 days, including: pre, main, and post cleanse. For those new to cleansing you may be heartened to hear that you do eat and there are no colonics! This cleanse is very manageable for most people and you will be supported throughout the process.
Please, consider your intention for undertaking a cleanse. I suggest that if your main goal is to lose weight that you abstain from this short-term intervention and consider other options. My main reason for doing a cleanse twice a year is usually to reset and recalibrate; realigning with my sankalpa (a vow and commitment we make to support our highest truth. A sankalpa should honour the deeper meaning of our life.) For me this cleanse is self-care that supports my health, enabling me to support others. It is also a period of contemplation and spiritual connection. Two weeks can feel like a very long time and the cleanse can be very challenging without this. So what is the cleanse?
COMPONENTS:
- Herbs (more info to follow for those that are interested)
- Yoga asana
- Meditation (if you have a practice, follow that, otherwise, a guided meditation)

-You don't have to eat the beets, apples or green smoothies if you don't want for these days

COST IMPLICATIONS:
You will need to buy some herbal supplements. I'm currently looking into best and lowest cost. My usual supplier is no longer available but I found someone else that looks great, it's just the holiday, so no-one is around to speak to.
You will also need to buy food but that will possibly be cheaper over the two weeks than your normal shopping. Things you may not have at home: food-grade castor oil, ghee and sesame oil (or other warm oil for massage, my possible supplier seems to have a lovely one). If you want to go ahead I will let you know a lowest and highest price option for these, when I get it. You will then need to purchase them yourselves. If we can benefit from any group discount I will let you know.
Also, as I am gifting this knowledge to you I will not be offering the normal level of support. I am still going to be here for you but not 24/7. I am going into this cleanse deeply and will only check messages once a day (preferably not at all ;)). I will not be spending hours replying. Please, consider how you will be able to support yourself during this time. If you won't be able to, then perhaps now is not the time for you to participate. That said, I will be sending you an automated daily email with tips and instructions. We also have a good chunk of time now for queries and support. Please don't share this information with others.
If you do want to go ahead, let me know your email address and I can send you further info, including the daily emails.
All love,
Sally
